Only 27 more days until the move happens. It seems like it's a real go this time. The builder has said the townhouse will be ready for inspection by the bank on July 15. The appointment for closing is being made as I type this. Painting and moving are scheduled and not changing again.
I did have a bit of a meltdown this morning. The banker had to reset my loan rate and I had to hold my breath to wait to see if the rate increased. Thankfully it hasn't.
Last night I freaked out and wondered if I have picked the right paint colors. I started looking at the Sherwin-Williams site to see if "sensitive tint" is really the color for my walls. What if I get it done and I hate it? I'm paying for painters, so I need this to be a one and done situation.
Am I ready for the movers? Is this going to go smoothly or are they going to look at my stuff and say "we can't take THAT?"
I think I just need one good scream to get all the tension out of my system 😁
Paint is paint and can be redone anytime. Especially if you have friends who enjoy painting!!
ReplyDeleteMovers will basically move anything. So, relax. Enjoy the time packing and cleaning things so that you don't unpack and think "what the hell did I keep this for?". The time will pass both excruciatingly slow and incredibly fast all at the same time. Then you'll be in the new place thinking holy crap. I can't believe it's mine. Someone is going to pinch me and wake me from this dream, right? :)
